My Camp Infinity Experience
A brief overview of my camp experience
Camp Infinity at Loyola College was an exciting experience. It introduced and showed me how to do something that I don't think I would have ever learned how to do. Learning how to make a web page is something that will stay with me forever. Besides that, the people at Loyola are great! The counselors made my experience even greater... Maria, Yumin, Susan, Christina, U Rock!!!! The food was great. We ate three times a day. By the time I got home everyday, I was no longer hungry! Also, I want to give a big shout out to Kathy Ryan of Loyola, thanks a lot for giving us those USB's!!!
My Favorite Speaker
My favorite speaker was Cathy Brune. To me out of all of the speakers, she kept it the realist. I loved how she assured us that we can do, and she added her everyday life into it. I love how she made sure that we understood that we do not have to give up our career if we want to have a family. Kids and work don't necessarily mix, but in the end they go great together! I loved the way she explained to us how much she had to go through to get to where she is now. Cathy, U truly Rock!!!
Camp Infinity College of DuPage
I also enjoyed the video conference that we had with the Camp Infinity girls from College of DuPage, even though it got a little spicy towards the end! I also enjoyed them coming to visit us. While they were here, we took a tour of the Loyola Water Tower Campus, and we visited the Hershey’s Store. The girls at DuPage are working on flash files, which is like graphic design or animation. The ones that we got to see were really great and creative. The girls were really nice, but they were rather quiet, but that is o.k. Their work was awesome! To those from Camp Infinity College of DuPage that are looking at this site, I really hope you have fun, come see us again!
