About me:

My name is Amanda this is the first time I've ever made my own webpage. I'm making this as a part of a camp I'm participating in called Camp Infinity. I'm interested in figuring out how to make my own webpage, and playing around with computer technology that I haven't had a chance or oppurtunity to use before.

I also have a myspace and a xanga that I use whenever I get bored, which is very often. I enjoy using the basic structures provided but tweaking it so that it really represents me. You can click on the links below to learn even more about me if you'd like.

My Career Thoughts:

I'm not really sure what career path I want to take at this point in time. I will be a sophmore in high school next year, so I'm not really thinking about what I want to major in or what I want to do with my life quite yet. I like a lot of things related to the fine arts and I don't really play any sports. I like things related to the sciences and math. Basically I like a lot of different things in many different areas so I'm not exactly one of those people whos known what they wanted to be ever since they were in elementary school. I open to trying new things and having new experiences, so I'm experimenting with sampling many different related areas for possible career ideas.

Speaker:

My favorite speaker was my mother. I actually learned some new things about her if thats possible. I've known her my whole life and I still know nothing about her life before I was born. I learned things about what she studied in college and things related to that. I also learned more about what she does now, and how everything she does is all inter-connected.

My second favorite speaker was Fevan. She was very inspirational, nice and down to earth. She was also very easy to understand and a very accomplished young woman. She is a great role model, because of all that she has accoplished and all that she is planning on doing. I very much enjoyed her presentation.

Talk with College of Dupage:

The talk with the College of Dupage was interesting but the connection was a few seconds too slow and it was blurry. Otherwise it was very interesting to figure out what they are doing at their camp. It would almost be interesting to take both camps during different weeks because the things we are learning are so different. It will be fun to meet them tomorrow and share our experiences at camp infinity.
