Name: Neha Shrivastava
Role During the camp: Planning Officer
Main Functions covered and enjoyed working for them: Mainly worked on food supplies and orders, Budget planning for stationay items and other requirements, worked with yumin for planning and meetings updates throughout summer session .I have had nice experience with Dr.Honig and my team always pushing us forward to do more and better everytime.Overall its a satifactory work done by me and learned alot on planning activities for events.
Points for emphasis-improvements that can be made.
1. More early and better budget for food should be made, so that in end its easy to tackle situations.-Esp orders with loyola dining. Also variety should be kept in mind as according to the age group of people having lunches.
2. Speakers and schools - invitations should be sent as early in plan as possible, to have final planned schedule ready beforehand.
3. Camp counsellors should be invited or posted for thier jobs at least 1 month prior to camp for easy understanding and working.

Role During the camp:Technology Officer & Camp Counsellor
Some of the things we did for campinfinity that rocked :
As a technology officer during the natal days of CampInfinity, the task of organising the website for CampInfinitys in PLone was a learning experience.I enjoyed working with my friends Ravneet and Maria.
The overall camp was a wonderful experience for me,not only did I get to meet women from different cultures and careers but also had a chance to treat my taste buds with good American food,Hmmm Thanks to Neha and Christina for the extra effort to get yummy food and dessert and of course Thank you Dr. Honig for your generosity to spend on deliciouas food.
This camp has also honed my team work abilities and taught me to have enduring patience with people.I should mention that I have learnt a lot from Dr Honig, qualities like how to handle stubborn people and situations...he has this real polite way to calm the staff and discipline them withuot really hurting them.
The lectures by the staff were very professional, every staff showed off their teaching talents.
We also did good at making the campers get comfortable with one another and the staff...not to mention their heart beat for Maria. Thanks to all the game organisers.
The video conference with COD was a major hit...it was something new that we all experienced...
Visiting College of Dupage also gave me an overview of the infrastructure of differnent other than Loyola. Our trip was well organised and made punctual by the staff...Good job staff!!!
Last but not the least, having different speakers at our camp contributed to the success of the camp.I,myself learnt new perceptions of careers in science and technology.
Thing we could do differently:
1.We could have had ice-breaker games for staff to know each other better. This could help create a more friendly atmosphre among the staff. And recognise that all the fingers on the hand are not the same size and yet we all need each other.
2. Agree with Neha when she says we could have invited the speakers earlier so as not to tamper with the schedule during the camp.
3. Camp counsellors could be more interactive with the campers and could be more disciplined with one another.
4. The 1st day of both the camps could be handled more efficiently and professionally.
5.The snack time had too much snack to eat... that could be cut down. 6. Could have a better and consistent process for signing in and signing out.
Name: Ravneet Kaur
Role During the camp: Technology Officer & Camp Counsellor As Technology Officer of CampInfinity, my primary job was to keep track of the registration of the campers, accept the applications, group the campers for the both camp so as to form the teams. I had a great experience working with all the officers, counselors, campers and above all Dr. Honig. I learned a lot about the work being done behind the desks for the registration of the students and what all things are kept in mind.
Points for emphasis-improvements that can be made.
1. Sign in sheets : - The process of “Sign –in” and “Sign-out” could have been made better and consistent throughout the camp. It created a bit of confusion some days due to change in the process.
2. Schedule : - The schedule for the camp should be prepared and updated at least one week prior to the camp.
Points that rocked the camp!!!
1.Food : - Food was a major plus point of the camp. Food was great through out the camp. This includes the morning time Tea
2. Speakers : - Speakers from the diverse fields gave a good knowledge and options to the campers about the various careers.
3. Camper’s Diversity : - The campers that attended the camp were from different ethnic backgrounds and cities which not only helped the campers to know about the different cultures closely but also helped them to as how to work with the them.
